We have two unconnected SBS 2003 servers at two different locations. Server #1 handles email for “domain.com”. It has 10 CALs and currently has 9 users. Server #2 handles email for “otherdomain.com”. It has 10 CALs and currently has 10 different users. I am being told to have server #1 handle the email for both domains. The obvious way to do this would be to just create accounts for the additional users and have them access Server #1 with Outlook over HTTP. But I’m thinking I probably will have a licensing problem on Server #1. Server #2 is still going to be used (just not Exchange) so I can’t move those CALs over. Any thoughts on how to do this? Is there a better way to do this with Exchange Routing Groups? (the connection between the two servers is over the internet)
