Encrtyped EMail using Windows 2000 CA

Can anyone help me with instructions on how to implement encrypted email to/from an outside client utilizing my inhouse Win2K CA. I would like to be able to issue a certificate, send it to my client, and then be able to send/receive encrypted email with this client. I have configured my CA and it is functioning with Web pages.
