Entry-Level CISA looking for work experience

I’m currently a System Administrator preparing for the June 10th CISA exam. I have limited auditing experience, but I’m willing to do whatever it takes to gain this experience. My current position does not offer this opportunity, and my organization’s IS Audit staff is relatively inaccessible (physically and technically).

This is a field in which I’m very interested. I can volunteer as an intern for an experienced Auditor in the Washington, DC metro area or remotely if possible. Other suggestions are certainly welcome.
