Error 1053: Win2003 Server fail to start or stop services

Installed undelete 5 for server about a week previous to reboot. After reboot only automatic services could be started. It takes 1 hour to log into server. Not possible to log out.
Server is used as domain controler and file server. Users can still access shares. Remote desktop does not work because terminal service service cannot be started.
maybe a reboot will help. It may be days before I can try that. I also had an verssion of 7.1 APC software on the server. I read in other posts this has led to similar reactions. What to do?
