Error on boot.

by swomack . Updated 22 years, 8 months ago

I am getting the following error when I boot into Window XP Professional SP1: MSLLFWL.EXE – This application has failed to start because MSVBVM60.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem. As far as I know, this is not causing me a problem but I would like to know what MSLLFWL.EXE is because I don’t know how it got on my computer, which is very new and I am very careful about what I install from the internet. This is my home computer and I keep AV up-to-date and have a Linksys firewall behind my cable modem. I have searched Google, Microsoft, Yahoo and other websites for MSLLFWL.EXE but can find no info on it. This question is only for info on MSLLFWL.EXE not suggestions on what to do to stop the error message. I did find the file in the registry under HKLM\Software\MS\Windows\CurrentVer\Run and in C:\WINNT\System32 but don’t know what it is.
