Not sure if this is the right place for this or not but the problem started after working on a solution I got from this site.
I have a computer that was experiencing the same problem as mentioned on this form,

Since I couldn’t get the computer to recognize any USB storage device I plugged in with the recommended software, I put the file on my MicroSD card from my phone and inserted the card into the card reader slot on the computer and had success. Unfortunatley, I downloaded an incorrect .exe file and when I ran it, all the folder names turned to text and symbols like this Ω?ho╞D. When I right click on the card and look at the properties, it appears that everything I had on there is still there since over half of the space of the 1GB card is used.
Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? There are a few pictures I would hate to lose on there as well as some videos. Any help would be appreciated.
