There are lots of consultants on this world. Some of them are good, some are not so good. In case client needs a consultant it needs it because of his/hers knowledge and experience in particular field. However, there?s always a price issue. Everybody would like first class consultant at the lowest possible price.
If few consulting companies are biding for the job, they have to provide lowest possible price to get the job and in that case there?s real danger of getting inexperienced consultants who will not be able to provide expected quality of their services. The problem is that it is not an easy job to measure quality of consulting services.
There are two questions I would like to emphasize:
As a consulting company, how can you compete with low quality and low price competition?
As a client, how can you be sure you will get first quality consultants?
