Ethernet ADSL 502T Router with a DI524 Wireless.

I am having difficulty connecting my Wifi laptop to internet behind a DI524 Wireless hardwired to ADSL 502T. Should I have an adapter card in my desktop of which connects fine to internet when ethernet wired to the ADSL 502T. The ADSL works very well on its own when hardwired to the laptop as well. I would appreciate any assistance with this.
