ethernet frame compatibility issues

Regarding Ethernet ver 2 frame, 802.3 frame, and 802.3 SNAP frame,

Has anyone recently experienced a compatibility issue with these 3 frame types on their network or is that a thing of the past?

I know there used to be a compatibility issue with Netware “Raw” 802.3 frame format but that is a thing of the past, isn’t it?
