I know, lots of questions… but I thought that is what TR is about 🙂
I am running XP home, and the anti-virus is eTrust from computer associates. Its probably not the best, but it does work and stop viruses, with free updates.
However, I notice on a reboot that the realtime scan does not start, and holding the mouse pointer over the icon in the taskbar, the error “unable to access the realtime service” ius given.
When I click on the icon in the taskbar to open the antivirus application, the realtime scanning starts.
Can someone give some advice as to why this occurs? I have looked on CA web site, but not found something to assist me on this issue.
