Eudora and Hyperlinks

I run Eudora 6.2 and when my boss gets a hyperlink in an email he clicks on it, but it comes up with this page can not be displayed.

I check the source and the link is missing http:\\ and seems to be point to the local C:

If I forward it to another workstation it works fine and the source says http:\\

I have no idea why.
