Event Log Error 3013-Rdr Error

I have a PC running NT 4.0 SP6. The PC seems to get a lot of Rdr Errors (error 3013) in the event log. This error states:
The redirector has timed out a request to . Can someone give me some steps on troubleshooting this error? I have seen Microsoft article Q148426 about editing a registry key…will this really help? This user seems to have file problems and I’m wondering if the errors are related somehow. I am running NT 4.0 Servers and TCP/IP protocol w/ DHCP.
