Excel97 “Save As” Problem

In Excel97, when doing a “Save As”, the user receives the error “Your changes could not be saved to ‘document name’, but were saved to a temporary document named ‘doc name’. Close the existing document, then open the temporary document and save it under a new name.” We are running Windows95.

Any ideas on what would be causing this or a work-around for it?
