Exch 5.5 admin on win2k pro

I had exch admin 5.5 installed on my win2k pro. Was working fine until I got removed from Domain admins group. Error message is “The list of microsoft exchange computers is not available because no microsoft server computer could be located”. I tried reinstalling a couple of times but no success. I’m still part of exchange admin group. Help!!
