Exchange 2000 Deny Relay

Hello,

Anyone know of the easiest or best practice way to allow some internal uses the ability to email intranet side (within the company) and to deny certain users the ability to send mail acrossed the gateway.

I can setup restrictions on the gateway but only by IP address. We are running static reservations via DHCP so it’s not that bad…but TIME CONSUMING.

Is there a quick trick to do this in Exchange 2000?
