Exchange 2003

by alex@2007 . Updated 17 years, 4 months ago

Hi Guys & girls,
I was asked can my exchange 2003 be a centralized mail server for all subsidiaries in rest of the world.
Although i could set up VPN between subsidiaries, hence we are all running different network scopes, which is ok. I am aware that they are all running earlier version of exchange on their networks i.e. 2000.
Now if i was to obtain their exchange boxes and migrate their mailboxes to my server, can their domains join to my domain, even though we are geographically far apart and on different segments! Or can i just point their outlooks? to my exchange without touching their networks nor DC.
I guess its not a question for novices no disrespect, but you can imagine imprecations!
I would appreciate for your feed back, thanks in advance.
