Exchange 2003 mailing configuration

Hi everyone,

I am Jeetender, network administrator actually I have problem in configuring Exchange 2003 server for internal and external mails. We use to configure the e mail system in clients by directly connecting our POP3 and SMTP provider like mail.thecompany.com, now we are planning for having our own mail server.

Please let me know the procedure how to configure the Exchange server 2003 to be able to send and receive mails from other networks also (like yahoo,hotmail and etc).

i have tried the Internet Mail Wizard available, but it doesn’t workout.

Please could anyone help me out in configuring the mail server step by step.
