exchange 2007 EMC hanging.

I have an exchange 2007 SP1 install on Windows 2003 Server. When the
Exchange Man Console is opened, and you try to get the
properties of any mailbox and the properties box
stays blank for a long time and finally hangs until i end the task with task manager.
