Exchange 2007/OWA Problem

We have currently installed a new exchange 2007 server and are using OWA for our WIndows 98 boxes (I know, just upgrade them) but when they run the OWA the automatically get the light version and the checkbox for the light or full versions is disabled. Has anyone seen this before?
