Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2007 Migration

I am currently planning to migrate an Exchange 2000 server to Exchange 2007. I need to migrate not only mailboxes, but public folders as well. These servers are not in the same forest. Will the native tools in Exchange 2007 accomplish this, or do I need something else?
