Exchange 5.5 Inter-Org Synch Tool

Trying to set up Inter-Org Synch Tool on MS Exchange 5.5 server. Keep getting a “dapi error ” in event monitor and the next line says the function was stopped by the user. Does anyone out here have experience setting this up and it working?
