Could anybody tell me if this prob rings any bells?
We are using MS Exchange 2000 and OS Win 2k on our Small business server. Yesterday there was a huge power outage (we have no UPS) and when all restarted, in Outlook we are receiving all mails but when you try and view the body of the msg it says “can’t open this item : the operation failed). If you try and use the preview pane it says “this item cannot be displayed in the reading pane” . It appearred that this only happenned with mails received after the outage as mails received just before are all ok, but looking futher back there are others that cannot be read? All services appear to be started ok and the event log appears not to say anything relevant. Tried rebooting but no joy. Any ideas, I know it’s a bit vague?
