Got a problem, that I think will be fixed if I use eseutil to defrag the exchange database, but I wanted to ask a few of you guys and gals to get your thoughts. I have A Dell server that has 3 different physical drives, RAID 5, and 3 logical drives:
C: Windows and common installtions like adobe.
E: Exchange Drive(Only exchange and files installed by exchange)
F: User Drive: Just a large share used by the users of the network.
OK, the “C” and “F” drives are ok, but the “E” drive shows that there is only 455MB left on the drive, I figured a lot of built up exchange log files, but when i go into the folder view(hidden files are viewable) and I select all the folders (a total of 3) right click and go to properties, i have a total of 3GBs. Anyone got any ideas of this, does exchange 2003 reserve hard drive space for the database? Do you think the exchange defrag tool (eseutil) will fix it?
