Exchange error

Working with user and noticed whenever emailed a specific non local domain, received error” There was a SMTP communication problem with the recipient’s email server. Please contact your system administrator.
#5.5.0 smtp;550 Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable or not local. I eventually tried this from my email account and received same error message. any ideas on how to resolve this.
