I run a small mail server from home that hosts a few small companies’ e-mails. Recently I was forced to upgrade from AT&T DSL to AT&T uverse. After much headache I finally got the internet working but the public IP address’s had to change. So I updated the zone files and had AT&T updated the reverse DNS……
I can ping my exchange server and I receive e-mail just fine. But nothing will send, the queue is looking larger and larger by the moment and I get ‘message delayed’ errors when I try to send an e-mail.
I have checked black list sites and we are not on any, however when I run an email check on wormly and it seems the Exchange server wont respond. The Exchange server configuration hasn’t changed, matter of fact it hasn’t even been rebooted in this internet swap ordeal. Between the exchange server and the internet I do have a Fortinet firewall, I did change the virtual/ip mapping to reflect the correct IP address but changed nothing else. I’m desperate for ideas…….. Anyone that can, please help. Below is the output from my test on wormly:
