Our company is switching from peer to peer network into a client/server network environment. I recently setup a computer in our company with Win2K Server and installed Active Directory as a domain controller. Since it is a small company and we can only afford one server I installed Exchange2K Server on same machine. The installation seemed to work fine. I used the migration wizard to migrate from our ancient MS Mail system to Exchange. It switched over all the mailboxes. All of our client machines use Win2000 and Outlook 2000. I tried uncessesfully connecting each users machine in Outlook with the Microsoft Exchange Server service. I continue to get an error stating “The name could not be resolved. Network problems are preventing connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server computer.” For the Exchange Server path I am simply putting the name of the exchange server I setup. Do I need to specify a long pathname? Why cant any client machine recognize the Exchange Server?
