Exchange Server 2003

I bought mailboxes from our ISP and I want to use MS Exchange server 2003 in our local LAN but now I?m facing the problem in placing MS exchange server in our local LAN because Our ISP does not permit on creating MS-cord on their DNS server and only POP3 and Web services were used.
Is it possible to create MS Exchange server in our Local LAN?
