Exchange Server 2003 & Microsoft Works 8.5

Our company is configuring a new network totally independant from our current setup, the Server is a Small Business Server running Exchange 2003. Our desktops might be running Microsoft Works 8.5 OEM version which has a email client integrated. My question is, is the mail client of Works 8.5 compatable with an exchange server like Microsoft Outlook is?
