Exchange Server 2007 Names

My coworker built an Exchange Server 2007 SP1, that is to be used as an Edge Transport. Which is on the perimeter – outside the firewall.
The current is Exchange Server 2003, which is to be the main server till migration is done.
Another Exchange Server 2007 is within network, which will host Mail, Client and Hub.
My coworker name the Edge Transport “********”
and the Exchange 2003 has the same name.
Both have their own IP address.
Question “When we connect the Edge to the firewall, will we get an message – Computer Name is the same network?”
