Hello, I have just deployed exchange server 2010 on my domain, and needed a little help on outlook anywhere. I have cofigured all of the outlook anywhere settings, however after doing some research it looks like I would have to purchase a trusted certificate from a 3rd party online. Is that true? I have employees who use outlook 2010 on their laptops outside of the network, and when I try setting up their exchange account within outlook (outside of network) i get a certificate error and warning. I have my external domain already setup with dns pointing to my public ip and port forwarding 443 and 80 to my private exchange server ip. I will also have mobile phones needing access as well. I did read up on the topic online, but just wanted to see if there was an expert out there that could give a little more clarification on what is necessary for connecting to exchange server from outside the network, other than owa. Thanks in advance for any help.
