Exchange Server Active Directory

Hello Friends
I am having additional domain controller with exchange server 2003 installed, and I am having task of formating my primary domain controller. I have to demote additional domain controller to member server and after that I will demote my PDC. So Guyz it is possible with exchange server 2003 installed!!!!!!!!!
