Exchange Server v5.5 Emails – incorrect rejections

Just discovered that if I present Exchange Server v5.5 with successive emails for the same destination email address or public folder at intervals of less than 3 minutes between each email, exchange server rejects and discards each one and reports “Code 2027 Duplicate message”. The problem does not happen when the interval is three minutes or more. Any solution available?
