Explorer performance with W2K and NT.

Does anyone know of a reason for slow performance when a W2K Pro client is browsing the network in Explorer. My servers are NT 4.0 and my clients are W2K. When you open explorer sometimes it takes 5-10 seconds for the drives and mapped drives to show up. When you access a mapped drive and start to browse the hiarchy it takes 10-20 seconds to display the info.

I seem to recall that there where some systems settings that may affect this, but I have not been able to locate any info.
