Extend SOHO internet connection to mobile devices offsite.

Good Morning

I was wondering if it is possible to make use of my internet at home via a VPN on my cellphone even if I’m not near my house. Can one provide oneself with service like this? If so, how is it possible? Mobile Data is getting way to expensive.
