External Email

by jdelforge_pcpro . Updated 18 years, 6 months ago

Im having problem with one user in my network she seems to not be able to recieve external email anymore. she can recieve internal email just fine. The old administrator had changed some settings under the users email properties and now there are two different types of SMTP addresses. one is her current email “Jcarter@…” and the other Jpeterson@…” she can recieve external emails if people use the Jperterson email address and that sends it to her Jcarter email. I tried just changing the SMTP so there was just Jcarter but she couldnt recieve external emails at all then. This is the error i get “Remote host said: 550 sorry, no mailbox here by that name” It also seems that any new users cannot recieve external email aswell, but all other users can just fine. This a windows server 2003 environment with exchange 2003. Sorry kind of a amateur when it comes to email any help would greatly be appreciated!!
