F9 gone and win xp login has activated but won’t let me login

the F9 option in startup has dissapeared and I now have windows login active. I never activated it but it won’t let me login. I realise it must be a virus. Safe mode doesn’t work. How can I doe a win xp repair when I cant use F9?
