Faxing with SMTP on DSL (no modem)

Dear Sir,

I have withdows 2000 server and internet coonnection through cable. I don’t have modem for internet connection. Is there any way or any software that can send faxes by using DSL internet connection using SMTP ? I don’t want to use the modem for that purpose.
