file and printer sharing

I am able to print from a printer installed at the server-winxp in a client server network but the client computers cannot be able to print or share folders over the network.

The printer has been shared at the server end and have installed a network printer on client computers.

Its just showing its ready but its not printing. When i try openning the server on the network-workgroup, access is denied.

The computers can be able to access internet via the server.

What could be the problem? What could be the solution?
