File Server Resource Manager 2003 slow reporting

We have FSRM on Windows 2003 R2 with user shares on a 600GB volume. Running a report on this volume takes over 24 hours to complete. We are looking to report on file types (MP3, AVI, etc…) and large files. We want to use the report to assist with clean-up. Anyone else have issues with slow response on running reports? Is there a better tool for this?
