File sharing through VPN

I have successfully got VPN to work from my NT network to my home PC. I installed WINS on the PDC and I am able to browse the LAN from. My problem is that when I try to look inside the PDC or map a drive the PDC will ask me for a password. I don’t understand why and nothing works. I am able to get in any workstation. I have an account with Admin access, and it is an NT 4.0 SP6 server and home PC is WIN 98. Any suggestions would be apperciated.
