File size, spooler…

Greetings,

I’m looking for suggestions of how to find out the file size of (ie: Word document for instance) going to a print server, then the size to compare from that same server to the actual printer. Will it change? How much? Any suggestions on how to measure this would be helpful. This is just straightforward TCP/IP not bothering with Jetdirect, etc… (Windows 2000)
