Finding a replacement for me

I am leaving my current job for another opportunity. I have given the requisite 2 weeks notice and am really looking forward to starting my new job.

One problem…finding a replacement for me. I am a SQL Server DBA who is VERY VERY motivated. I worked really hard to make my current environment work as smoothly as it is right now. My current company has put out job notices but are not getting a lot of response. I am amazed!!

I am in the Fort Worth area…are DBA’s that much in demand? I don’t want what I have worked so hard for to deteriorate after I leave. This is one of the most difficult things I have ever done.

My new job will be a great opportunity for me and I am not going to stay where I am. Any DBA’s out there in the Dallas/Fort Worth area looking for work?
