Firewall/NAT with DNS Question

I have a firewall/NAT server called INET which also has DNS. My server has two NIC one for the external and the other for internal address. In my DNS forward lookup zone I have two A records for name ” INET ” one is the internal which I think is normal, the other one is the external public address(do i need the public external address A record INET in my forward lookup). When i delete the A record INET with external ip it reappears ????
