First Contract job and resume

I have recently started my first contract job which is for a 3 month period. My question is this, how do you show contract jobs in a resume. I have only ever done my resume for full time positions.
Ie. Worked, date to date.
Reasons for leaving.

I just get my hands around how you would show that this was a contract position in a resume.

Dumb question I know. But, I’ve just never been here or done this before.
I wish to show on my resume that even though I had 22 years experience with the same employer before this, I had no problems moving to a buisness and codeing environment that I had previously not experienced. Thus, hopefully setting myself for more contract positions.
