First Time

I am going to be designing my first professional network and I have some ideas on where to start. However, I wanted to get your input on what hardware/software you would reccommend…

The network has to be client/server based. There needs to be a domain controller, web server, email server, and file server. There are 50 users who’s rights must be able to be restricted on an individual or group basis.

The only condition handed down to me was that the servers and client machines MUST run Windows.

Have any of you advice about which email/file/web server software I should use, and where I can find online quotes for volume licensing? Any ideas on hardware for the servers?
