Fix for “Trivial.145” virus

I have a laptop with Windows XP Pro that is infected with the Trivial.145 virus.Nortan anti-virus found the virus but cannot fix it. I have searched everywhere and cannot find a fix. Would appreciate any help as it has affected Microsoft Office and I cannot retrieve some important e-mails.
