folder options

I have xp pro sp2 installed. Folder options was working fine untill i ran a software containig malicious codes. I deleted the file killed the process. Everything is working fine but folder option is not available. I tried to open it though help & support center but it gave me a error that “computer restrictions don’t allow to run this program” what should i do???
