Folder Re-Direction not functioning correctly

I’ve set up a GPO in active directory for folder re-direction. I’ve added a test user to an Organizational Unit that utilizes the GPO. When I log the user on at either domain controller (there are 2 windows 2008 enterprise servers acting as DC) the folder re-direction seems to work just fine, but the moment I log on to another PC it doesn’t work at all, it simply uses the local folders rather than the network ones. I’ve ensured all the permissions are set correctly, run gpupdate /force, rebooted, tried another test account under the same OU, nothing seems to work.
