Folder security in SBS 2003

I’m stuck with a problem. I while back shared data was moved from the old DC (windows 2000) to the new DC (SBS 2003). I have checked the net and it seems that you must copy the data and not moved it. But somebody moved it. The hardware in the old server crashed after a power failure. I’m now unable to access the moved data on the SBS 2003 server. Can anybody help, any suggestions?
