Folders have disappeared from Server 2003…

Hello every one ;?]

I have a customer?s server [Folders have disappeared from Server 2003] that has had a huge user created folder that has “just disappeared” It can not be found any where.

There was one of the employees attempting to install some software and he began changing things blindly by the sounds of it [permissions, security etc.]. The problem was notice on Monday or Tuesday , this was around the time the permissions etc were be change, I do not know what else this person has done, if anything, I do have my suspicions though. Any ideas?
